IREL Recruitment 2026: Age Limit

Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a qualifying skill test as applicable.

Written examination

The examination will be conducted for two hours and will contain 150 multiple-choice questions divided into two sections.

Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, and no marks are awarded for unanswered questions.

Minimum qualifying marks in each section:

• General (UR) and EWS: 50%.
• SC/ST/OBC-NCL: 45%.

Skill test

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be shortlisted for the relevant trade test or computer proficiency test, as applicable.
