NTA Releases UGC NET June 2026 Exam Schedule; Tests to Be Held from June 22 to 30

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the detailed subject-wise schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2026 session. According to the public notice issued by the NTA, the examination will be conducted entirely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The national-level eligibility exam is scheduled to take place over a span of nine days, starting from June 22, 2026, and concluding on June 30, 2026.

Key Timings and Examination Shifts

The UGC-NET June 2026 examination will be administered in two distinct daily shifts to accommodate the large list of subjects:

  • Shift I (Morning Shift): 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Shift II (Evening Shift): 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM

Each slot provides candidates with a standard duration of 3 hours to complete their respective papers.

City Intimation Slips and Admit Cards

Candidates awaiting the announcement of their test venues can look forward to upcoming updates soon. NTA has clarified that the formal notification regarding the intimation of the City of Exam Centre will be uploaded on the official website 08 to 10 days prior to the commencement of the examination. This puts the expected city slip release window between June 12 and June 14, 2026.
