Age Limit

Candidates must be born between 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2005 (both dates included).

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess:

Essential Qualifications

1. Pass in SSLC or equivalent.
2. Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (3-year course) from:
   • State Board of Technical Education, or
   • Institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.

OR

Equivalent qualification recognized by the Central or State Government.

Driving License Requirement

Candidates must possess a valid and current driving license authorizing them to drive:

• Motor Cycle
• Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV)
• Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle (HPV)

The driving license must remain valid throughout all stages of the recruitment process.

Physical Qualifications

For Male Candidates

• Height: 165 cm
• Chest: 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm

For Female Candidates

• Height: 152 cm

SC/ST Candidates

• Male: 160 cm minimum height
• Female: 150 cm minimum height

Vision Standards

• Full field of vision in each eye.
• Colour blindness is not permitted.
• Squint is disqualifying.
• Any morbid condition of the eyes or eyelids is disqualifying.

Probation Period

Candidates appointed as Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector will undergo:

• 2 years probation
• Within a continuous period of 3 years

Training
