Total Vacancies

A total of 2,600 regular vacancies are available across multiple circles in India, with additional backlog vacancies bringing the total higher. The number of vacancies is distributed among different categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/GEN), and horizontal reservations apply for PwBD candidates.

A Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
Candidates with qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, CA, or Cost Accounting are also eligible.

2. Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience (as of 30.04.2025) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.

3. Age Limit (as on 30.04.2025):

21 to 30 years, with age relaxation as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen.

4. Local Language Proficiency:

Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the circle they apply to.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

Online Test:
- Objective Test: 120 marks
  - English Language (30 Qs), Banking Knowledge (40 Qs), General Awareness/Economy (30 Qs), Computer Aptitude (20 Qs)
- Descriptive Test: 50 marks
  - Letter Writing and Essay (30 minutes)
Screening:
- A committee will verify job profiles and experience.
Interview:
- Worth 50 marks. Candidates must qualify in this round separately.
Language Test:
- Proficiency in the local language will be tested unless certified by 10th/12th mark sheets.

Final Selection:
Candidates must qualify both the online test and interview. The final merit list will be prepared with 75:25 weightage given to the online test and interview respectively.

Salary and Benefits

Basic Pay: Rs. 48,480/- plus 2 advance increments for eligible experience.
Additional allowances include HRA, DA, CCA, Provident Fund, NPS, Medical, and more.
