Union Bank of India has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2025, opening 500 Specialist Officer (SO) positions for Assistant Managers in the Credit and IT departments. This initiative is part of the Union Bank Recruitment Project 2025-26, aiming to bolster the bank’s professional workforce.
Position Details
- Total Vacancies: 500
- Assistant Manager (Credit): 250
- Assistant Manager (IT): 250
- Job Grade: Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS I)
- Salary: Starting at ₹48,480 per month, with progressive increments up to ₹85,920, following the bank’s pay scale structure.
Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Manager (Credit):
- Educational Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university, along with professional qualifications such as CA, CMA (ICWA), or CS. Alternatively, a full-time MBA/MMS/PGDM/PGDBM in Finance with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).
- Experience: Post-qualification experience in Public Sector Banks (PSBs) or the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector is desirable.
Assistant Manager (IT):
- Educational Qualifications: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (IT)/MS/M.Tech/5-year Integrated M.Tech degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Data Science, Machine Learning & AI, or Cyber Security from a recognized institution.
- Certifications: Certifications like AWS, Azure, GCP, CCSP, CEH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, Power BI, and others are desirable
- Experience: Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience in IT domains such as Cloud Operations, DevSecOps, Networking, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Software Development, or related fields.
