The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has officially announced its Head Constable (General Duty) recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications from meritorious sportsperson. A total of 403 vacancies are available under the Sports Quota, offering a golden opportunity for both male and female athletes to join one of India’s premier paramilitary forces.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognized board or institution
- Must have represented the state/country at national/international level in sports or athletics
Age Limit:
- 18 to 23 years as on 01 August 2025
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Departmental candidates: up to 45 years (SC/ST), 40 years (OBC/UR/EWS)
Sports Achievements Required (Any one of the following):
- Represented India at the international level
- Represented state in national games or championships
- Medal in all India inter-university championships
- Gold in national school games/championships
Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:
Stage 1:
- Trial Test (qualifying, minimum 10 marks out of 20)
- Proficiency Test (minimum 20 marks out of 40)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Documentation
Stage 2: 5. Medical Examination
Final merit will be based on proficiency test marks and performance in sports (max 10 marks for sports achievements).
