Educational Qualification

For STA-B Posts

• B.Sc Degree or Diploma in the relevant discipline
• Qualification must be from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institute
• Final results must be declared on or before 01-01-2026
• Candidates with B.Tech, B.E, M.Sc, or Ph.D are not eligible

For Technician-A Posts

• 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized board
• ITI certificate in the relevant trade
• National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate is acceptable where ITI is not awarded

Age Limit and Relaxation

• Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as on 01-01-2026

Age Relaxation

Selection Process

Tier-I CBT (Screening Test)

• General Science – 40 questions
• General English – 30 questions
• Quantitative Aptitude – 40 questions
• General Intelligence & Reasoning – 40 questions
• Total: 150 questions | Duration: 120 minutes

Tier-II CBT

• Part-I: Personality Test (Qualifying)
• Part-II: Subject-specific test (Merit deciding)

For Technician-A

• Trade Test (Practical, ITI level) – Qualifying only
• DRDO apprentices (within last 2 years) are exempted
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
