Selection Process

The recruitment process includes multiple stages:

Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering:
- General Aptitude (English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation)
- Technical/Professional Knowledge related to the qualifying diploma
Group Task/Group Discussion & Skill Test
Personal Interview
Pre-Employment Medical Examination & Physical Fitness Test

Candidates must qualify at each stage to proceed further.

Salary and Benefits

Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month
Approximate CTC: ₹10.58 lakh per annum (includes base pay, allowances, and performance-related pay)

Placement & Probation

Selected candidates will be placed in HPCL’s Refinery Division and may be transferred anywhere in India.
A probation period of one year applies.
A retention amount of ₹5,000 per month will be deducted for the first six months, refundable upon confirmation.

Reservations & Relaxations

SC/ST: 5 years age relaxation
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
PwBD: Up to 15 years (depending on category)
Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
