Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • 21 to 39 years
  • Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for OBC/SC/ST categories as per Kerala PSC norms.
  • Maximum age limit including relaxation shall not exceed 50 years.

Educational Qualification

  • Must have SSLC Pass or equivalent qualification.

Driving Qualification

  • Must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License with 3 years’ standing.
  • The license must include endorsements for Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) and Heavy Passenger Vehicle (HPV).
  • Must also possess a Driver’s Badge.
  • The driving license should remain valid through all stages — application submission, OMR test, practical test, and document verification.

Medical Fitness Requirements

  • Vision:
    • Distant Vision – 6/6 Snellen (Both Eyes)

  • Must be free from physical deformities such as knock-knee, flat foot, bow legs, or defective speech/hearing.
  • A Medical Certificate in the prescribed format must be produced at the time of the Practical Test.
  • The certificate should be obtained from:
    • Part A: Ophthalmologist (Government Service)
    • Part B: Medical Officer (Not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon)

Selection Process

  1. OMR/Written Test or Online Test
    • Candidates must confirm participation through their Kerala PSC profile.
  2. Practical Test (T-Test and Road Test)
    • Conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission.
  3. Document Verification and Medical Test
  4. Only candidates who pass the T-Test will be allowed to attend the Road Test.
