Recruitment Rally Details

The IAF is conducting recruitment rallies at:

2 ASC, Race Course Camp, Air Force Station, New Delhi
7 ASC, No.1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru

Rally Dates: 10 June 2025 to 18 June 2025
Online Registration: 21 April 2025 (11:00 AM) to 11 May 2025 (11:00 PM)
Website for Registration: agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Only candidates who have successfully registered and received a Provisional Admit Card will be allowed to appear.

Who Can Apply?

Gender: Unmarried male and female candidates
Age: Born between 01 Jan 2005 and 01 Jul 2008
Education: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board
Musical Skills: Proficiency in at least one instrument from the specified lists
Medical Standards: Meet the prescribed physical and medical criteria

Musical Requirements

Candidates must:

Perform a song with correct pitch and tempo
Tune instruments and match notes
Play at least one instrument from either list A or B

List A (Western Instruments):
Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba, etc.

List B (Other Instruments):
Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Drums, and all Indian classical instruments

A musical qualification like Grade 5 or above from recognized music institutions, or Diploma in Hindustani/Carnatic music, is highly preferred.

Selection Process

Proficiency Test – in playing musical instruments
English Written Test – 30 objective questions (Matric level)
Adaptability Tests I & II – assess suitability for military life
Physical Fitness Tests (PFT I & II):
- 1.6 km run
- Push-ups, Sit-ups, and Squats (time-bound)
Medical Examination – based on IAF standards

Salary and Benefits

Monthly Package: Starts at ₹30,000 with yearly increments
Seva Nidhi Package: Around ₹10.04 lakhs after 4 years (including Govt. contribution)
Additional Benefits: Medical facilities, CSD access, training, and leave entitlements
Life Insurance: ₹48 lakhs (non-contributory)

Life After Four Years

Post the 4-year term:

Up to 25% of Agniveervayu may be absorbed into the regular IAF cadre based on performance
A Skill Certificate will be issued to help with future employment
However, Ex-Serviceman status is not granted
