Special Notes
- Merchant Navy Personnel with relevant competency certificates can also apply for certain technical and executive branches.
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) holders have separate eligibility for Pilot entry.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders get 5% relaxation in cutoff marks (with conditions).
- Some candidates may be considered for Submarine Arm or Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Specialisation.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on normalized marks of qualifying degree.
- SSB Interview (intimation via SMS/email).
- Medical Examination as per Navy standards.
- Final Merit List based on SSB marks & medical fitness.
Training & Service
- Rank on joining: Sub Lieutenant.
- Training location: INA, Ezhimala.
- Tenure: 12 years SSC, extendable by 2 years.
- Pay: Approx. ₹1,10,000 per month + allowances.
- Probation: 2 years (3 years for SSC-NAIC).
