Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the country’s largest life insurer, has officially released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) – Generalist, 32nd Batch. LIC AAO 2025: Vacancy Details

A total of 350 vacancies have been announced. Reservation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10–15 years), Ex-servicemen, and confirmed LIC employees.
Educational Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.

Basic Pay: ₹88,635/- per month
Total Emoluments (in ‘A’ Class city): Approx. ₹1,26,000/- per month

Selection Process

The selection will be done in three phases followed by a medical test:

Preliminary Exam (Qualifying in nature)
- Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language
- Duration: 1 hour
- No negative marking
Main Exam
- Objective Tests (Reasoning, GK & Current Affairs, Data Analysis, Insurance & Financial Awareness) – 300 marks
- Descriptive English Test (Qualifying only) – 25 marks
Interview – 60 marks
Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination

Final merit will be prepared based on marks scored in the Main Exam + Interview.

SC/ST/PwBD: ₹85 + GST + Transaction Charges
Others: ₹700 + GST + Transaction Charges

Payment must be made online only.

Service Conditions

Selected candidates will be on probation for 1 year (extendable to 2 years).
A guarantee bond is required to serve LIC for at least 4 years, failing which a penalty of ₹5,00,000 will be applicable.
Candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India, mostly in mofussil branches.
