Tentative Vacancies: There are approx. 261 vacancies. However, firm number of vacancies will be determined in due course. Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
You must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board as of 1st August 2025.
2. Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025)
- Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years
- Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18 to 27 years
Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
3. Skill Requirement
Candidates must possess stenography skills in English or Hindi.
Reservations & Inclusion

- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen

Exam Pattern
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): Part Subject Questions Marks
- I General Intelligence & Reasoning 50
- II General Awareness 50
- III English Language & Comprehension 100
- Duration: 2 hours (2 hours 40 mins for eligible PwBD candidates)
Skill Test in Stenography:
- Dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi
- Grade C: 100 wpm
- Grade D: 80 wpm
- Transcription on computer with varying time based on post and language
Application Fee
- ₹100/- for general candidates
- No fee for women, SC/ST, PwBD, and ESM candidates
- Online payment modes only (UPI, net banking, credit/debit cards)
