The Centre for Management Development (CMD), an autonomous institution under the Government of Kerala, has released a recruitment notification (No.CMD/GOG/01/2025 dated 29.01.2025) inviting applications for the position of Territory Sales In-charge (TSI) on behalf of a reputed Government Organisation. The initial tenure of appointment is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational requirements.

Position: Territory Sales In-charge (TSI)
Number of Vacancies: 14 (subject to change)
Location: Across Kerala
Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of 29.01.2025
Salary: ₹2.5 to 3 lakhs CTC per annum, along with Travel Allowance/Dearness Allowance and incentives

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an MBA or a degree in Dairy Technology/Food Technology.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in selling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products.
Skills:
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam.
- Strong aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Active listening, negotiation, facilitation, and reasoning abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler is mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Achieve revenue targets for the assigned territory.
Build, lead, and manage the distributor sales team.
Oversee distributors to ensure product availability in both rural and urban areas.
Manage General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) distribution channels.
Identify and appoint new distributors.
Ensure timely and accurate Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
Conduct periodic reviews with distributors to assess business progress.
