The Kerala Climate Resilient Agri-Value Chain Modernization (KERA) Project, under the Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Kerala, has announced exciting job opportunities for young professionals. Supported by the World Bank, the project aims to strengthen climate resilience in agriculture through sustainable practices and modern value chains. On behalf of KERA, the Centre for Management Development (CMD) invites applications for the posts of Project Executive and Project Assistant on a contract basis.

Vacancy Details

Project Executive

  • Total Vacancies: 13
  • Qualification: Graduate degree in Engineering or Agriculture (preferably with PG in M.Sc/M.Tech/MBA/PGDM)
  • Age Limit: 30 years (as on 01.01.2025)
  • Monthly Pay: ₹40,000/-
  • Specializations:
    • B.Sc Agriculture – Various SPMU, RPMU, KAU, Industries & Commerce Units
    • B.Tech (Civil/General) – Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kannur, Kottayam

Project Assistant

  • Total Vacancies: 16
  • Qualification: B.Com (Preferably MBA/M.Com)
  • Age Limit: 30 years (as on 01.01.2025)
  • Monthly Pay: ₹25,000/-
  • Work Locations: Thiruvananthapuram (SPMU & PIUs), Kottayam, Thrissur, Kannur, Kerala Agricultural University

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Executive

  • Verifying beneficiary documents and online applications
  • Monitoring application processing and grant disbursement
  • Preparing compliance reports and meeting documents
  • Overseeing civil work documentation
  • Maintaining official records

Project Assistant

  • Handling financial documentation and Tally entries
  • Preparing grant and reconciliation records
  • Managing office operations, inventory, and assets
  • Assisting in consultant payment verification
  • Coordinating workshops and training programs

Selection Process

  • Application Screening
  • Written Test / Proficiency Assessment
  • Group Discussion / Interview (if applicable)
