  • Age Relaxation:
    • OBC: Up to 29 years
    • SC/ST: Up to 31 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: Up to 41 years

Educational Qualification

  • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent
  • SC/ST candidates who failed HSE may be considered if sufficient qualified candidates are not available .

Physical Standards

Height

  • General: Minimum 168 cm
  • SC/ST: Minimum 160 cm

Chest

  • General: 81 cm with 5 cm expansion
  • SC/ST: 76 cm with 5 cm expansion

Eye Sight (Without Glasses)

  • Distant Vision: 6/6 (both eyes)
  • Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes)
  • Colour blindness, squint, or any eye disease will be considered disqualification

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates must qualify in any 5 out of the following 8 events under the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard:

  • 100 meters run – 14 seconds
  • High jump – 132.20 cm
  • Long jump – 457.20 cm
  • Shot put (7.264 kg) – 609.60 cm
  • Cricket ball throw – 6096 cm
  • Rope climbing – 365.80 cm
  • Pull-ups – 8 times
  • 1500 meters run – 5 minutes 44 seconds

Weightage & Extra Marks

  • NCC Certificates:
    • ‘A’ Certificate – 2%
    • ‘B’ Certificate – 3%
    • ‘C’ Certificate – 5%
  • Extra marks for meritorious sports persons
  • SPC (Student Police Cadet) Certificate holders are eligible for additional weightage as per government orders .
