The Kerala State Institute of Design (KSID), under the Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) and the Department of Labour and Skills, Government of Kerala, has announced recruitment for various positions on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online through the Centre for Management Development (CMD) website.

Principal
- Vacancy: 1
- Qualification: Ph.D. with a first-class degree at the bachelor’s or master’s level in a relevant field. Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 3 years at a professor-equivalent level.
- Age Limit: 60 years
- Pay: As per AICTE norms
Associate Professor (B.Des)
- Vacancies: 2
- Qualification: Ph.D. in a relevant field with a first-class degree at the bachelor’s or master’s level. Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, including 2 years post-Ph.D.
- Age Limit: 56 years
- Pay: ₹80,000
Assistant Professor (B.Des)
- Vacancies: 3
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, fine arts, architecture, or related fields, with at least 2 years of professional design experience.
- Age Limit: 56 years
- Pay: ₹60,000
Technical Assistant-Instructor (AV Lab-Photography & Videography)
- Vacancy: 1
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma or ITI certificate in AV Production, Videography, Photography, or related disciplines. Relevant work experience of 3-5 years depending on qualifications.
- Age Limit: 56 years
- Pay: ₹24,000
Technical Assistant/Instructor (Metal and Plastic Workshop)
- Vacancy: 1
- Qualification: Diploma or ITI certification in Metal Fabrication, Plastics Processing, or similar fields. Relevant work experience of 3-5 years depending on qualifications.
- Age Limit: 56 years
- Pay: ₹24,000
