Bank of Baroda (BoB), one of India’s premier public sector banks, has announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring professionals! BoB is recruiting 2,500 Local Bank Officers (LBOs) across 18 states on a regular, full-time basis.

Post: Local Bank Officer (LBO)
Grade: Junior Management Grade/Scale-I (JMG/S-I)
Vacancies: 2,500 across various states
Location: Selected candidates will be posted in their applied state for at least 12 years or until promotion

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Graduation in any discipline (CA, Engineers, and Medical graduates eligible)
Experience: Minimum 1 year as Officer in Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank
Language: Must be fluent in the local language of the applied state
Age Limit: 21 to 30 years (as on July 1, 2025) + applicable relaxations

Salary & Benefits

Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920 (JMG/S-I)
Probation: 12 months
Service Bond: ₹5 Lakhs if leaving before 3 years
One advance increment for eligible candidates with 1+ year prior officer experience
