Union Bank of India has announced a golden opportunity for fresh graduates by inviting applications for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Application Start Date: 19th February 2025

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 to 28 years as of 1st February 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Educational Qualification: A graduation degree from a recognized university/institute. The degree must be obtained on or after 1st April 2021.
Other Conditions: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have job experience for one year or more after their graduation are not eligible.

Selection Process

Candidates must undergo a two-stage selection process:

Online Test: An objective-type exam covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge (100 marks in total, 60-minute duration).
Local Language Proficiency Test: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of their applied state. Those who fail to produce evidence of language proficiency must pass a language test.

Stipend & Benefits

Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000/- per month
Duration of Training: 1 year
No Other Allowances: Apprentices are not eligible for additional benefits or allowances.

How to Apply?

Register on NATS Portal: Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in.
Apply for Union Bank Apprenticeship: Search for the “Union Bank of India” apprenticeship listing and submit the application.
Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the online examination fee:
- General/OBC: ₹800 + GST
- Female/SC/ST: ₹600 + GST
- PWBD: ₹400 + GST
Online Test Intimation: Candidates who successfully apply and pay the fee will receive exam details via email.

Important Notes

Candidates can apply for only one state.
Only online applications will be accepted.
Selection does not guarantee employment after the apprenticeship.
