Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible, candidates must be Indian Nationals.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old as of the closing date of applications. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories, including OBC (NCL) (up to 33 years), SC/ST (up to 35 years), and PwBD (up to 45 years for SC/ST PwBD).

Selection and Examination Process

  • The selection is based on a Computer-Based Multiple Choice-Objective Type Test.
  • Exam Structure: The test lasts 180 minutes and consists of two parts:
  • Part-I (Aptitude): 40 Marks/Questions.
  • Part-II (Technical – Telecom or Finance): 160 Marks/Questions.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer earns 1 mark, while each wrong answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
  • Qualifying Marks: General candidates must score at least 40% in each part and 50% overall. For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS candidates, the requirement is 35% in each part and 45% overall.

Training and Service Bond

  • Selected candidates must execute a service bond of Rs. 9 Lakhs to serve BSNL for at least five years. The 52-week training program includes common managerial training, functional stream training, and on-the-job training.
