The Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation (KEPCO), a Government of Kerala undertaking, has released a notification inviting applications for the posts of Accounts Assistant Trainee and Cashier Cum Accountant Trainee on a contract basis for one year. Interested and qualified candidates can apply online through the Centre for Management Development (CMD) website (www.cmd.kerala.gov.in).

Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

1. Accounts Assistant Trainee

  • Vacancies: 2
  • Qualification & Experience: M.Com with Tally ERP and two years’ experience OR CA Inter (one group or both) with completed article ship training.
  • Age Limit: 35 years (as of January 31, 2025).
  • Remuneration: ₹18,000 per month.

2. Cashier Cum Accountant Trainee

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Qualification & Experience: B.Com with two years’ experience and working knowledge of Tally Accounting Software.
  • Age Limit: 30 years (as of January 31, 2025).
  • Remuneration: ₹15,000 per month.

Important Conditions

Only candidates residing in Thiruvananthapuram district are eligible to apply. The working hours for the Cashier Cum Accountant Trainee post at the KEPCO Restaurant will be from 12 Noon to 10 PM, with extra remuneration for work beyond 8 hours. Additionally, only male candidates will be considered for this position.

The appointment will be on a contract basis for one year, which may be extended based on performance and organizational requirements. If an employee’s performance is unsatisfactory, the contract may be terminated with one month’s notice.

Application Process

Candidates must apply online only through the CMD website. The online application submission starts from January 30, 2025 (10:00 AM), and the last date for submission is February 13, 2025 (05:00 PM).

Applicants must upload their passport-size photograph, signature, and scanned copies of qualification and experience certificates in the prescribed format.
