Basic Requirements

Educational Qualification: SSLC and above.
Experience: 2 years in excavator operating to perform earthmoving tasks such as digging, trenching, grading and material handling and Certificate in SEC or CSC in Hydraulic Excavator Operation Course/ REO is preferrable.

Salary and other benefits.

Basic monthly salary : Singapore $ 728 – S$ 780.
Working days and hour: Monday to Saturday/ 8 hrs per day.
Annual leave and public holiday: as per Singapore employment act
Overtime: 1.5 times basic rate per hour; not exceeding 72 hours per month as per Singapore employment act.
Contract period: 2 years and renewable of 2 years.
Accommodation: provided by employer.
Transportation: provided by employer.
Insurance: Medical and Workmen Compensation provided by employer as per Singapore employment act.
Return Air-Ticket shall be provided upon completion of contract period.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as per project specifications.
Ensure excavator is well maintained daily.
Communicate effectively with site personnel to coordinate and carry out assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
Ensure safety practices and housekeeping are maintained as safe work procedure.
Any other ad-hoc as assigned.

In Singapore, the SEC(K) (Skills Evaluation Certificate – Knowledge) Test conducted by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is mandatory for foreign workers in the construction sector to obtain basic skills status. This is a special scheme for workers to come to Singapore without undergoing the SEC(K) (Skills Evaluation Certificate – Knowledge) Test in India. It is sufficient to pass the SEC(K) Test after arriving in Singapore. The cost of this test will be borne by the employer.
